Prosper Sounds is the creation of California native and multi-instrumentalist Nathaniel Cuellar, a producer whose journey began in the hills of Santa Barbara with nothing more than hand drums and a love for rhythm. What started as a spark quickly grew into a deep passion for sound, cultivating an ear for melody, vibration, and the spirit of reggae culture. Guided by roots, culture, and a spiritual lifestyle, Nathaniel has carved out a unique style that fuses heavy dub, mystic reggae, and soulful instrumental beats.

 

His production credits carry a royal weight in the reggae world, including the acclaimed Vaughn Benjamin (Midnite/Akae Beka) albums Children of Jah and Children of Jah Dubs, the groundbreaking Nightshade Meets Scientist, dubbed by the legendary Scientist himself, and the influential riddim Burnhard Spliffington. Nathaniel’s versatility has also crossed boundaries, producing California Green featuring Snoop Dogg, as well as the visionary album Mykology for Myka 9 of Freestyle Fellowship.

 

Through Prosper Sounds, Nathaniel continues to manifest and release music that bridges worlds. From his first dub single Sun Dub, to Chalice Dub, to the Paolo Baldini collab- Blazing Dub premiered on Reggaeville, his productions carry a distinct vibration, deep roots with a modern mystic edge. His newest single, Dub Cabaña, sets the tone for a wave of lifestyle-inspired releases to come.
